Turtleback is a beautiful course. Josh and the entire staff do an excellent job of making your golfing experience most enjoyable.
Received excellent service from booking a stay and play package expecially on a short notice, we would recommend the course to anyone that loves to golf, everyone was super friendly and the course is well maintained, the Microtel is close and very clean. compliments to all at turtleback golf course. What a lovely golf course! The entire course is immaculate ... tee boxes are drop dead gorgeous! Pro shop was helpful and friendly ... we simply couldn't have enjoyed our day of golf there more!
We took advantage of the stay and play. It was great golf at a fabulous price! The first day we played nine holes and got rained out for the second nine. The course is in wonderful condition! Not many small town courses are as well kept or are a well designed. It was a pleasure it play. They clubhouse came to the "bar and grill" to give us our rain check. NO hassle. The second day of play was beautiful and the course was well drained after the big rain. We had tons of fun! I wish Rice Lake had better restaurants and more to do. My partner was upset by the drink cart which roared around too often and wasn't courteous when people were playing.
